1. RENTAL AGREEMENT
By submitting a reservation request and accepting delivery of rental equipment from 313 Crate Co. (“313 Crate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the customer (“Customer”) agrees to these Terms & Rental Agreement.

2. RESERVATIONS & AVAILABILITY
Submission of a reservation request does not guarantee availability or constitute a confirmed reservation. Reservations are confirmed only after approval by 313 Crate Co. Requested delivery dates, quantities, and packages are subject to availability.

3. RENTAL PERIOD
The standard rental period is 14 days unless otherwise stated in the confirmed reservation. The rental period begins on the scheduled delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date.

4. RENTAL EXTENSIONS
Customers who need additional time should contact 313 Crate Co. before their scheduled pickup date. Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional rental charges. Keeping equipment beyond the agreed rental period without approval may result in additional charges.

5. DELIVERY & PICKUP
Standard delivery and pickup are included within the applicable service area unless otherwise stated at booking. Customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and reasonable access to the delivery and pickup location.

Customer should ensure that crates and other rental equipment are empty, accessible, and ready for collection on the scheduled pickup date. Additional charges may apply if a scheduled delivery or pickup cannot reasonably be completed because of inaccessible premises, incorrect information, unavailable customers when access is required, or equipment that is not ready for pickup.

6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY FOR EQUIPMENT
All crates, dollies, and other rental equipment remain the property of 313 Crate Co. Customer is responsible for the equipment from delivery until it is returned to or collected by 313 Crate Co.

Normal wear from ordinary moving use is expected. Customer may be responsible for the reasonable replacement or repair cost of equipment that is lost, stolen, intentionally damaged, destroyed, or damaged through misuse or negligence beyond ordinary wear and tear.

7. PROPER USE
Rental equipment is intended for ordinary packing, storage, and transportation of household or business belongings during a move. Equipment may not be altered, sold, transferred, abandoned, or used for unlawful purposes.

Customers should not use crates to transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, chemicals, biological waste, or other materials that could damage or contaminate the equipment or create an unreasonable safety risk.

8. CLEANING
313 Crate Co. cleans and inspects rental equipment between customers. Customers are not expected to perform routine cleaning before pickup. Additional cleaning charges may apply for equipment returned with excessive contamination, paint, chemicals, hazardous substances, or other conditions requiring cleaning beyond normal use.

9. PAYMENT & CHARGES
Customer agrees to pay the rental price and any additional charges disclosed and accepted in connection with the reservation, including approved extensions, additional equipment, extraordinary cleaning, or lost or damaged equipment when applicable.

10. CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
Customers should contact 313 Crate Co. as soon as possible to change or cancel a reservation. Delivery-date changes and package changes are subject to availability. Any applicable cancellation or refund terms communicated during confirmation or payment will apply.

11. DELAYS & EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Delivery or pickup times may be affected by severe weather, unsafe road conditions, vehicle problems, emergencies, or other circumstances reasonably outside the control of 313 Crate Co. When this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the Customer and reschedule service.

12. PERSONAL PROPERTY
Customer remains responsible for packing, loading, securing, transporting, and protecting their belongings. 313 Crate Co. does not take possession of, transport, or insure the Customer’s personal property merely by renting crates or related equipment.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, 313 Crate Co. is not responsible for loss or damage to Customer property resulting from packing methods, transportation, loading, unloading, storage, misuse of rental equipment, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

13. SAFETY
Customers are responsible for using reasonable care when lifting, stacking, moving, or transporting loaded crates and dollies. Do not overload equipment or stack it in an unstable or unsafe manner.

14. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
313 Crate Co. may update these terms from time to time. The version applicable to a rental is the version presented or made available to the Customer in connection with that reservation.
